Where did the name Dead Frank come from? Great question. It came about as an evolution of my first Guitar Hero band name: “Frank”. I always wanted to have a band named Frank. Later on, I created a team for this ultra cool website called sf0. We needed a team name and “Frank” was already taken. Turns out some systems engineer from down in the valley was all narcissistic and named his team after himself. So I was forced to come up with some kind of unique variation and this one had a nice ring to it. So I registered the domain. I sat on it for a while until I took a trip to Japan and used the site to start up a new blog to record my trip. Now I’m using it for all sorts of tidbits about my life.
